UPDATE: Some people were having trouble opening the .psd file in GIMP, so there's a new .zip file now, which also contains a .xcf for the GIMP users.

Well, a friend of mine wanted a pile of pony blobbies for an icon, and I said 'if I can find a nice template, I'll make it for you.'
But then I couldn't find a nice template! So... I made one. I have to admit, though, the style itself is... really simple. Like, really, really simple. I understand why there isn't a template if someone of my skill level (that is to say, none) can make a new blobby in less than an hour.
If you don't want to use the template, what I basically did was made an oval using a draw tool, then decided where to flatten it out, and went back over that with the paths tool to make the lines. Then the wings are basic 'chibi' wings that you can find a reference to anywhere, but it's pretty much just three arches arranged to touch. And then the horn and stuff is more arches. It's... really, really easy. So hopefully posing shouldn't present any problems for anyone.
Credit where it's due: the style of face, with the little kitty-mouth and the big blank eyes, is definitely original to *
PhantomDarkLover . The overall style, actually is more along his lines than the Ask My Little Chubbies tumblr
[link] . Although, again, that's because of the whole 'empty eyes' thing. If you wanted to make an MLC blobby, you'd just need to add some highlights/pupils to the eyes.
There are two template files, one PSD for photoshop and one XCF gor Gimp. Each comes with separate layers for various appendanges (horn, wings, etc), that can be moved around. Plus a layer for the eyes, and a layer for the whole lineart that can be recolored (with and without wings) and a couple of fill layers already set up. I wanted to make it as super simple as possible.
The blobby itself is about 700px tall and 800px wide without mane or tail, though I've included vectors for the lineart as a whole (with and without wings) that can be resized to whatever you need. Those are Inkscape .SVG files.
So, this is pretty much available to whoever, you don't have to link or credit or anything. Just have fun! But I don't recommend trying to turn a profit from this. I'm not sure if the fact that it's MLP would get you in trouble, or the fact that the specific style is My Little Chubbies, or what. But I don't think you want to be selling it.
(On an unrelated note, coloring this guy in pink turns him into the most adorable piggy bank I've ever been exposed to.)
